MAC (Media, Art, Choir+Orchestra)
- Media
- With the mission of becoming a communicator who exerts a good influence based on a correct understanding of media, the Media Team of Wanbang School studies the overall process of video production, plans and produces videos directly using various equipment, and delivers good messages. The Media Team aims to capture good contents through video, and not just make fun contents. All the videos uploaded to the school website are videos in which the students of the media team participated directly from planning to production.
- Art
- In the Art Team of Wanbang School, students not only learn and apply art techniques, but also discover the good and beautiful minds of students through various art activities such as school environment beautification, stage design, and prop development, and share the values and messages of Wanbang conveyed through paintings and works. Through the process of sharing values and messages with team members, contemplating how to deliver them, and asking questions, students learn the spirit of cooperation, the viewpoint of discovering values, and the ability to plan.
- Choir
- Through choir classes and the Wanbang Choir, where students who love music gather, students learn in depth the elements necessary for choral singing, such as breathing, vocalization, diction, and movement, and sing joy, love, and hope with one heart and one vision. Students with different voices and different personalities gather through the chorus, but breathing is life, and with that living breath, students learn to love others by singing with their whole hearts.
- The Wanbang Choir constantly works to deliver their messages through song, and at the All China Youth Arts Festival choral competition held every three years the Wanbang Choir sang <Circle of life>, <Joyful, Joyful>, <When you believe>, <I will follow He sang songs such as Him>, <From now on>, and <We go together> and won the first place prize three times.
- Orchestra
- Students develop ears to hear the harmony of various instruments in an orchestra, a sense of purpose to understand the phrasing of music and to determine the direction of sound, a sense of order to maintain an accurate pitch and an unshakable beat, and a passion to not break the overall balance. Students will learn self-discipline, the responsibility to know that improving your skills will improve the performance of the entire orchestra, the humble attitude to follow the conductor's direction that creates harmony for the whole, and the appreciation for the given environment and talents. Playing together the joys and sorrows of life, passion and determination, gratitude and blessings that music wants to express, the orchestra becomes an endless learning ground.
